About our Nettlecombe Garden:

We are very lucky and proud to be able to work with the 

Field Studies Council right on our doorstep at Nettlecombe Court.

Working with the team at Nettlecombe we are able to create outstanding opportunities for all at Meadowbank to embrace nature and enjoy the tranquillity that brings. 

Nettlecombe provided us with our very own secluded garden to nurture and enjoy privately.

Things we get up to at Nettlecombe:

Over the years we have created areas for wildlife, including several ponds allowing us to get up and close for studies. We have a polytunnel providing a home for our fruit & veg to flourish and our outside beddings allow for larger veg and 'big' flowers! We have worked with local willow artists to create all the wonderful willow work within the garden. We tend to the gardens all year. 

During the Spring / Summer we have a programme of events to accompany our work here, some of this years include:

• Butterfly Bingo / Mini Beast ID
• Bug Hotel Build and Examine
• Water Model Raft Building and Race down stream!
• Live Mammal Studies 
• Fruit sampling sessions
