Day Trips at Meadowbank:

We get out and about a lot at Meadowbank! We try to cram in as much as possible. From exploring and discovering our local history and cultures to getting up close and personal to wildlife and we even discover fictional adventures! 

We have been on so many adventures, here are a small handful to give you an idea of life at Meadowbank.

• Somerset Museum - Here we have had the opportunity to visit many exhibitions including the Dr Who sci-fi !
• Donkey Sanctuary - We tend to head here a couple times a year, it's a lovely place to explore as well as offering a great space to eat lunch al fresco!
• Hestercombe Gardens & Nynehead Court - Here we experience as many of the events as we can. Every year we'll also dress-up and follow a Halloween themed trail.
• Tropiquaria Zoo - This is a very unique zoo which we all love, we get to experience all the animals and hear educational talks. There's also a fabulous area for outdoor eating.
• Minehead museum and train station - Being less than a hour away from Minehead means we get to experience all the events we can. 
• Langford Lakes & Christmas Markets - Every Christmas we head off for our annual tradition, tree shopping and browse the markets!
• National Trust trips - We try to do at least 2-3 National Trust visits a year. Recently we've explored the dungeons of Dunster Castle and gardens of Knightshayes
